Tamal-Making Experience w/ Guelaguetza

Spend an evening immersed in Oaxacan food, culture, and craft alongside Guelaguetza and The Bruery. Paulina, co-owner of Guelaguetza, will guide you step by step as you prepare and wrap two traditional tamales: Tamal de Mole Negro with chicken and black mole, and a Vegan Tamal de Frijol with hoja santa and avocado leaf.

Once your tamales are wrapped and cooking, the experience continues with a guided tour and beer tasting at The Bruery, giving you a closer look at what goes into the beers in your glass while your creations finish cooking.

At the end of the afternoon, your freshly made tamales will be packaged up to take home. You’ll learn the traditions, make the food yourself, explore The Bruery, taste some exceptional beer, and leave with something you created along the way.
