American Single Malt Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

Two crafts, one shared pursuit of exceptional barrel character. Black Tuesday: Distiller’s Coalition is our side of a collaboration with Virginia Distillery Company, whose Brewers Coalition program gives ex-beer barrels new life aging American whiskey. While their whiskey rests in former Black Tuesday barrels, we took our iconic imperial stout in the opposite direction, aging it for a full year in American single malt whiskey barrels from the distillery. The result brings a distinctive new dimension to Black Tuesday, layering its immense dark malt character with the oak, warmth, and nuanced spirit character of American single malt whiskey.
