Spontaneous Sour Blonde Ale

Spontaneously-fermented sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels When it comes to crafting extraordinarily wild ales, the onus is on us. This three-year blend is an homage to tradition and a testament to our Bruers’ dedication to the craft. Brewed using traditional Belgian methods of turbid mashing, spontaneous fermentation, and a Terreux twist— inoculation via the wild winds of industrial-rustic Anaheim, imparting a one-of-a-kind complexity. We hand-selected our favorite barrels, which were then gracefully blended to taste. Funky, complex, tart, and drinkable. 750-ml. Bottle Access Level: Hoarders, Reserve

Imperial stout with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes aged in French oak puncheons Inspired by the sweeping views and elevated landscape of the Atlas Peak AVA in Napa Valley, we set out to make another beer-wine hybrid treat with our good friends at Erosion Wine Co. We blended and fermented our Black Tuesday imperial stout on the skins and musts of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the elevated Atlas Peak AVA region, then aged it in French oak puncheons. The result transcends the boundary between beer and wine for a delightful indulgence. 750-ml. Bottle Access Level: Hoarders, Reserve

Sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels Rueuze is our take on the traditional Belgian-style blend of aged lambics. Bourbon barrel-aged sour blonde ale with citrus and spices In case you couldn’t tell, we’ve been on a bit of a Tiki kick lately. Our Seahorse ale was inspired by a late night at a Tiki bar and a few too many cocktails of the same namesake. This bourbon barrel-aged sour blonde ale was given the tropical treatment with orange and lemon for a citrus punch, and nutmeg and cinnamon for a spiced up, yet refreshing, treat that’ll make a splash in your glass. 750-ml. Here's What Members Are Saying

The actual tasting room is pretty busy and it can be hard finding seats for a large group. It's much better than their original setup which was a couple wooden barrels set up inside the actual brewery. We love their beers so much that we both joined their Reserve Society and regularly stock up our cupboards with special brews that only Reserve Society members can get. The regular brews are good but I highly recommend Black Tuesday, Melange #3, and Chocolate Rain. They are all blended and aged in oak barrels. I recommend bringing a DD as a couple glasses of those will put you in a good place.

Daryl C

Yorba Linda, CA

Love this place! Their bourbon barrel stouts are excellent.  If you like a strong stout + 10% this is the place.  There are a few greAt local breweries and this is one of them.  If you haven't been, then give them a try.  You may just want to join the reserve society

Paul M

Orange, CA

Made the pilgrimage a few weeks back from San Jose to pick up my reserve society allocations...all I can say is the Bruery taproom is the bomb.  The amount of taproom only specialty drafts was staggering, whether you had a society membership or not.  Prices were really fair on all pours, the space was nice and we ended up spending an entire evening there.  The staff was great as well.

Scott W.

Nashville, TN

My bf is a Reserve Society member and so we come to let him drink all of the other fantastic beers. Great atmosphere and lots of fun. Worth checking out even if you're not in love with BBA/sours/Belgians!

To view your cellar, just log in to your account, and click on "my cellar" to see which beers are available to ship or pick up.

Each month we release a flurry of new beers, with members always getting first shot. Your allocations are just the number of bottles or cans allocated to you as a member to purchase. Until it's sold out, you have the access to buy the allocated number of each beer, throughout the month. These beers are typically Society Exclusive releases, member-only presales on limited distribution beers, special archives pulled out from our cellar, or first dibs on returning favorites.
