Gin and chartreuse barrel-aged rye ale brewed with spices, cherries, lime zest, and almonds

Knock twice and whistle for entry— The Last Word is a distinctly Terreux twist on a long forgotten Prohibition-era drink. For this cocktail-inspired treat, we brewed a sour rye ale with lavender, pepper, rosemary, and Juniper berries, and aged it in gin and chartreuse barrels then treated it with cherries, lime zest, and almonds to mimic the key ingredients of the cocktail. Bottoms up!
